Well, my little peanut is 4 weeks old today and I am just now getting to posting anything about him! I'll try to catch you all up! (For all 5 of you that read this blog) :)

A look back

I was getting ready to journal some more for Nate when I ran across this journal entry. It made me laugh. Enjoy!

The charges against me:

I would not let him bathe with his blanket (even though he had already put it in the bath)

I tried to make atonement by making his bath “fun” by adding bubbles. I was wrong, this defiled his bath and he needed to get out.

I put his blanket in the dryer (when he could see…yes I know…poorly planned) now I have not only offended him but also the blanket. He keeps going to the dryer and coming back to me and sobbing.

How could you mommy?

Nate loves the cat. He tries to talk to the cat in "kitty language" which consists of him laying on his belly in front of the cat and saying "meow" over and over again. We are so thankful that we have a very tolerant cat. Nate also loves to try to feed the cat or give him his juice. While I was trying to get ready for baby I came upon this scene....

Bunny is one of the special stuffed animals that sleeps with Nate. I can't help but wonder if he thought that the kitty needed to sleep with him too.

Nate's first Oreo!!!

The very happy result! He even figured out how to open the Oreo and eat the icing first! He is a smart boy!!
